Scripts

A sub-page of Parameters & Functions. The "Edit" button next to a script opens it in the script editor.

Is menu script - a script that has to return true or false. This code is used when data is stored in the storage and when the current chapter and the resume time are read. "True" means that the current position is the menu. It is used when the main menu and the movie are in the same playlist.

Numeric select scenes script - a script executed after a jump to a chapter that was triggered by entering the chapter number with the numeric keys of the remote control (see "Numeric select scenes" for movies/playlists/popups). The only parameter passed to this function is int iTrackNumber. The delay before the jump is set on the Engine page.

Image loaded - lets you add a script that is executed when a background image has been loaded. Here you can use two predefined variables: boolean isFailed - if true, the image failed to load; String fileName - the name of the image the script was called for (bg1.jpg and so on). The script is executed once for every loaded image, so use fileName to find out which one it was:

if (!isFailed && fileName.equals("bg1.jpg")) {
  manager.showBackgroundImage("bg1.jpg");
}

Custom imports - lets you add custom imports to MediaManagement (the manager).
