A sub-page of General.
Volume label - the volume label of the disc. If it is empty, the name of the project folder is used. It can also be used in the output folder as %volume%.
Encrypted CPS Settings - enables the protection for projects intended for mass production.
Assets update is required - if this is checked, the project is imported with an exclamation mark on the assets, so that you can use the update asset function of Scenarist to solve potential problems.
Allowed regions - here you can specify the region codes the disc may be played in. In a blocked region the "Wrong region" video or image is shown. The check runs before Java starts.
Wrong region video/image - here you specify the "Wrong region" video or image shown in blocked regions. It is required as soon as one of the regions is unchecked: the compilation stops if the file cannot be found. An image is converted into a video during muxing (see the x264 encoder settings).
Check the region code in Java as well - adds an additional region check inside the Java code: when the JAR starts in a blocked region, it switches to the "Wrong region" title. This requires JAR signing; without it, the compilation writes a warning to the Log window.
Lets you specify a video that is played before the JAR is loaded for the first time. It avoids the "Unknown resolution" message on the TV and the video/sound delay of the first movie/menu played.
- Not used (the default) - no warm-up video is played.
- 1 second, 2 seconds, 3 seconds - a built-in black video of this length: an AVC clip for Blu-ray and an HEVC clip for Ultra HD. For Ultra HD, the HDR check box next to the list uses the HDR version of the clip instead.
- Custom - a video of your own; select the file in the field next to the list. If the file cannot be found, the compilation writes a warning and the disc is made without a warm-up video.
The built-in clips are copied into the project folder when the disc is compiled.
Lets you specify the conversion method for the menus displayed on top of HDR video. The same settings are used to convert subtitles for HDR video.
Method - the algorithm used for the conversion. Adjusted usually gives the best result. "Vivid + Adjusted" is the equivalent of "Vivid" in the IG Editor. "Cube file" lets you use a color LUT file for the conversion: select the file in the field below the list.
In/Out exponent (Adjusted, Classic and Vivid + Adjusted only) - the In (adjusted and classic) and Out (adjusted) parameters of the conversion. Increasing "In" makes the output darker (In = 17 in Adjusted converts white to 127/127/127).
Don't mix colors - do not mix R, G and B during the conversion (experimental).
A project is made 3D with the 3D project check box on the General page. More about 3D.
Switch 2D/3D mode - defines how a multi-action switches between the 3D and 2D modes: immediately / on media start (immediately after the new movie starts) / on media prefetched (after the previous video has stopped and before the new one starts).
Edit warning text "No 3D" - lets you edit the "no 3D hardware" warning. The format is:
