Properties of the graphic objects

There are two types of graphic objects: static objects and buttons.

Static

Name - the name of the graphic object.

Static (on the right) - the type of the graphic object: Static or Button.

Static object - an image file or a text value. To change the image file name or the text, select "Static object" and click the button that appears on the right, or double-click the image or text in the Designer window.

Image (on the right) - the type of the state (layer): Image, Text or Rect.

Effect - a permanent effect applied to the image/text.

Top/left - the coordinates of the top left corner of the layer.

Width/Height - the width and height of the layer (read only).

Button

Name - the name of the button.

Button (on the right) - the type of the object: Static or Button.

Normal / Selected / Current / Activated - an image file or a text value. Each button state can have its own file or text. See "Static object" above.

Effect - a permanent effect applied to the button state.

Top/left - the coordinates of the top left corner of the button state.

Width/Height - the width and height of the button state (read only).

Actions - the actions (including the navigation between buttons) and the animations played when these actions are performed.

Highlight - highlighting the current audio track, subtitle track or movie chapter.

Sounds

Press Left/Right/Up/Down/Enter - the sounds played when you press the corresponding button on the remote control of the player.

Select button - this sound is played when the button is selected with the directional keys and no animation is involved. For example, suppose you have two buttons B1 and B2, both of which have the "Select button" property assigned, the "Press right" action of B1 is "B2" and the "Press left" action of B2 is "B1". If no animation is assigned to "anim left" and "anim right", the "Select button" sound is played.
