A sub-page of Menu.
Allow empty button states (on by default) - lets you use buttons (and images) that contain no picture. This is useful for auto-action buttons. A Normal or Selected image state without a picture is always compiled with an empty placeholder outside the screen; if this option is off, the compilation also writes the warning "Image file not set" to the Log window for every such state.
Use Activated state only for ENTER - if this is checked, the Activated state (the yellow circle on the toolbar) is used for ENTER only (the default); otherwise it is used for the directional actions as well (left/right/up/down).
Auto-clear Activated state - changes the state of the button from Activated back to Selected immediately (but after the delay), just before the corresponding action is executed. If this is unchecked, returning to the menu without selecting a particular button shows the button in its Activated state. This may cause flickering in some drawing modes.
Delay for Activated state (frames) - suspends the menu for the specified number of frames, showing the activated state (from 1 to 100, def: 6). The frames are counted at the animation engine FPS.
The default settings of text and rect objects.
Use baseline instead of top for text objects by default - calculates the baseline of the text and uses it instead of the top coordinate of text objects. This can help to position horizontal text more accurately vertically.
Use middle instead of left for text objects by default - calculates the middle of the text and uses it instead of the left coordinate of text objects. This can help to position vertical text more accurately horizontally.
Render text to image by default - turns on "Render text to image" in every new text object state.
Render rect to image by default - turns on "Render to image" in every new rect object state.
Frame roundness - sets "Frame roundness" in every new rect object state.
Apply... - the button next to "Render text to image by default" applies that setting to all existing text objects; the button next to "Frame roundness" applies "Render rect to image" and "Frame roundness" to all existing rect objects.
